DevOps
Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps to work at our Annapolis, MD headquarters. The DevOps will be responsible for developing and maintaining all processes that support Production, Development and Test environments, software version control, and deployment automation.
Responsibilities and duties
- Must be able to build and maintain a production equivalent staging environment
- Maintain production development and test environments matching production
- Qualified candidates will automate, execute and monitor software builds and create installation kits per product release schedules for all environments
- Assist quality assurance team by aiding testers and support personnel as needed in determining system problems
- Assist software engineering teams by aiding as needed in determining system problems
- Maintain and recommend version control system
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure Agile releases support customer requirements
- Evaluate impact of software performance, and recommend changes to software design team and product management
- Provide input to establish and improve processes and procedures
- Escalate issues to management as appropriate
Requirements
- US Citizen with willingness and ability to be cleared if necessary
- 7+ years of CM experience
- Full Knowledge of the SDLC
- Experience with mobile platform development a plus
- A Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent experience is preferred
- Ability to successfully manage schedules and timelines
